Conclusion:

Upon completion of this lab, I will be able to explore various tool in Photoshop. I have learnt how to mirror effect of the image by using the Photoshop.  I also have create the mirror image using my own picture with the help from my lecturer.  The first step that I should do is rename the background layer. Change the layer from “Background” to “Layer 0”. Second is adding more Canvas space, go to Image menu and choose Canvas Size. In the Canvas Size dialog box, select Relative option. Then, set the Width to 100 Percent and the Height to 0 Percent. Make sure the center box is selected to Anchor grid. Third is adding a vertical guide down the middle. Go to View and choose New Guide. In the New Guide dialog box, select Vertical for orientiation and 50% for position. After that, select the move tool and drag the subject to one side of the guide. Besides, select the image by press and hold the Ctrl and click on the layer’s preview thumbnail . The selection outline or the “marching ants” appears around the image. Then, select the Transform Selection command  and drag the left or right handle to the guide to reshape the selection outline, then press Enter. Therefore, copy the selection to a new Layer. Go to Layer > New > Layer Via Copy and the “Layer 1” will shown above “Layer 0”. The next step is select the Free Transform Tool command, the reference point in the center of the Free Transform box. Drag the reference point to the side handle. Next, select the Flip Horizontal command, go to Edit > Transform > Flip Horizontal so that everything on the one side of the guide is now mirrored on the other and press Enter. Finally, is to clear the guide, go to View > Clear Guides and  to remove the unwanted transparent areas from the sides of the image, go to Image > Trim. In the Trim dialog box, select Transparent Pixels at the top, then make sure all four checkboxes (Top, Bottom, Left and Right) are selected at the bottom. Don’t forget to save it as in .jpeg format for saving the image in your desktop.
